I have been an IBCLC since 1994, and have worked as a hospital-based lactation consult-ant, teach breastfeeding classes, and facilitate a weekly mom/baby lunch. I’m currently living in the South Carolina Upstate, and working in Spartan-burg, SC. I lived in Flor-ida over 30 years and served as President of the Florida Lactation Consultant Association. I moved to South Carolina 2 years ago. I oversee services related to indi-vidual members and chapters. I head the Membership Services Committee, which is re-sponsible for communi-cation tools for USLCA members: newsletter, surveys, journals, web site, and internet communication tools. I enjoy our monthly Chapter calls where we hear what is going on across the entire US. It is exciting to have possible new chapters hear how "they can have a chapter, too!"
