Chapters

Chapters are local/regional/state organizations, within the United States of America. A chapter subscribes to the same mission and vision as USLCA;

 

Mission: To build and sustain a national association that advocates for lactation professionals.

Vision: IBCLCs are valued recognized members of the health care team.

Joining your local chapter allows you to network with lactation consultants and others.  Many chapters offer conferences and other educational meetings so that members may continue to update their clinical skills, keep current, and earn continuing education credits (CERPs).
